What is better than organic fair-traded clothes? Recycled clothes! Our efforts at Say it Green! are not to spur the consumption capitalist machine along. Instead we hope to learn together how to more creatively use our earth's limited resources. One way to do this, certainly, is to support small businesses that take seriously the call to steward well by treading-lightly and paying fairly. Another way to do this is to encourage you, our customers to go through your closets and local thrift stores to find clothes that can be transformed into something you would like to wear. This is especially true if you only want a t-shirt to wear once to a special event. Why not print on an already used t-shirt that is just sitting there anyway?
