We are hoping to have a non-toxic white ink available soon, which means we could print on dark colors! Until then the color of the shirt will affect the way your image looks. Anything white in your image will print clear or reverse, showing the color of the shirt through it. For an example of this, log in to our design area and upload an image. Click the box that says "set white as transparent." If you have a color shirt in the background you will see the color of the shirt through it. As a general rule, dark printing (i.e. black, navy, brown) will be unaffected by the shirt color, whereas lighter printing (i.e. yellow, pastels, etc.) will not show up on a dark shirt color. We will email you if we think your design will not work on the color of shirt chosen. Please see below for a visual example of an image affected by shirt color.
